DAY 1. Arrival

 Arrival in Minsk. Transfer to hotel. Check-in.

DAY 2. Minsk

Sightseeing tour introduces Minsk as the capital of the Republic of Belarus, its political and cultural centre.

Sightseeing tour of Minsk includes the main avenues (Independence avenue, Victory avenue) and the architectural monuments of the 17th - 20th centuries (the Upper Town with the City Hall, St. Spirit Cathedral, churches and monasteries, old small streets of the Trinity Suburb). The Victory Monument and the National Library (included into the list of the most outstanding buildings of the world) are waiting to be explored.

Visit to the convent bearing the name of St Martyr Grand Princess Elisabeth – the only convent in Minsk. It includes 7 churches and is known as one of the most beautiful sites of the city.

DAY 3. Minsk / Dudutki 

 Breakfast at hotel.

Transfer to Dudutki.

Visit to the open-air Museum of Folk Handicrafts and Technologies  Dudutki. Dudutki is a unique museum of material culture in Belarus with living national trades. It is a magnificent reconstruction of the traditional way of living in Belarusian village that can be not only seen but even touched: in the old-time bakery you can make a loaf by yourself, in the ceramic workshop become a potter or have some training as a blacksmith or miller... And certainly you will never forget the amazing taste of delicious homemade food with real traditional samogon (home made vodka).

Lunch at Dudutki.

Return to Minsk.

DAY 4. Mir / Nesvizh / Brest

Trip to Brest via Mir and Nesvizh.

Mir Castle is a unique architectural monument, included into the list of World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. It was erected at the end of the XVth century and today combines the features of several architectural styles. Mir castle is also a historical monument, true legend, which used to belong to several aristocratic families.

Lunch at local restaurant in Nesvizh.

Visit to Radzivills’ Palace in Nesvizh - a former residence of Radzivills family (medieval Belarusian magnates) with its beautiful park ensemble and Farny Roman-Catholic Church of the XVIth century. Nesvizh Palace is included into the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.

Arrival in Brest.

DAY 5. Brest / Belovezhskaya Pushcha

Brest city tour. Brest is the traditional "western gate" of the country. In 1390 it was the first city in Belarus to obtain self-government on the basis of the Magdeburg Law. The historical Union, which reconciled and united catholic and orthodox confessions in Belarus, was concluded here in 1596. In 1917 here again the Lenin's government concluded the "Brest-Litovsk Peace Treaty" with Germany during WWI.

Brest fortress is the main attraction of the city. The fortress made a prolonged defense against the Nazis in 1941 and was ruined in the result of severe battles. After the war the ruins of the fortress were turned into a grandiose memorial to its defenders.

Visit to the National Park Belovezhskaya Pushcha. The park is included into the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is one of the last and largest remaining parts of the immense primeval forest which once spread across the European Plain. The present animal and bird world is very rich and diverse. The bison population of Belovezhskaya Pushcha is the largest in the world. You will visit the Museum of nature and the magnificent Residence of Father Frost.

Return to Brest. Free time.

 DAY 6. Brest / Cracow  

 Check-out. Departure for Poland.

Lunch en-route.

Arrival in Cracow. For many years the city was the seat of the Polish kings and is still considered Poland's cultural and artistic capital. Check-in at hotel in Cracow.

 DAY 7. Cracow   

  Breakfast at hotel.

During the city sightseeing tour of Cracow you will see the historic buildings in the Old Town, registered on the UNESCO List of World Cultural Heritage. Very famous is Europe's largest medieval Market Square with the Cloth Halls as well as St Mary's Church with its Gothic pentaptych altarpiece carved in limewood. In the afternoon, optional visit to the Royal Castle and Cathedral on Wawel Hill or guided walk through the Jewish quarter of Kazimierz.

 DAY 8. Salt mine / Tatra Mountains   

 

Breakfast at hotel.

After the buffet breakfast, we offer optional tours: you can admire the highlights of the Tatra Mountains incl. Poland's most popular centre of winter sports Zakopane. After that, drive through the Pieniny National Park and raft trip on the Dunajec river, or excursion to Wieliczka with a visit to the UNESCO salt mine of Wieliczka. Worth a visit is St Kinga's Chapel at the depth of 101 m.

 DAY 9. Black Madonna

 You leave Cracow in the morning for a visit to Czestochowa, Poland's spiritual capital. The Pauline monastery on Bright Mountain houses the Chapel of the Miraculous Picture and the icon of the Virgin Mary with the Christ child, known as Black Madonna. The Pauline monastery pulls in millions of pilgrims every year. Arrival in Warsaw, a fast-growing metropolis with two million inhabitants and a fascinating nightlife.

DAY 10. Warsaw

City sightseeing tour of Warsaw.  The rebuilding of the Old Town after World War II was one of the biggest reconstruction projects in Europe. Now, the Old Town and the Royal Castle are placed on UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage list. The Market Square is lined with burgher houses, exclusive restaurants and shops. Worth seeing are also: Gothic St John's Cathedral and the Barbican. Along

the Royal Way, visitors will find many old churches and palaces. In the afternoon, we suggest a visit to Wilanow Palace & Garden. The palace and surrounding park remain intact and retain their genuine historical and artistic merits to become one of the most cherished parts of Polish cultural heritage. Like in the past, the palace premises are rich in fine artistic ornamentation such as wall and ceiling paintings, stucco decorations, colourful fabric lining and ceramic tiles, and they contain numerous works of arts and crafts. The park occupies 106 acres (43 hectares).

 DAY 11. Departure
