On Wednesday, Prime Tour visited the « Art-Belarus » gallery located in Kazlova street in the Palace of Art. Numerous piece of arts from different periods and genres found a home in the Belgazprombank corporate collection.
We were glad to see that the gallery has not only work of arts of great Belarussian masters of the past century but also modern ones. Indeed, the gallery cares to reveal talents of a new generation of Belarussian artists like Alecia Skorobogataïa. In the same hall you can admire the work of the members of the School of Paris such as Chaïm Soutine, Osip Zadkine, Léon Bakst and Marc Chagall all members of the School of Paris. Paintings of these Belarusian born artists came back to their homeland in 2012.
The work of a Alecia Skorobogataïa, a young Belarusian woman was displayed in the exposition called « Dactyloscopie ». The artist is questioning our sensibility by exposing different food elements together. Alecia Skorobogataïa is one of the most popular modern new artists in Belarus. You can see her work not only in different places such as the National Art Museum of Belarus or the Museum of Modern Art in Minsk but also in private collections around the globe. Currently at the exhibition in the gallery, there are more than 40 paintings of her. Graduated from the Minsk State Gymnasium-College of Arts and from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, we wish her the best of luck in her international career !
