Minsk City Hall is an administrative building in the central part of Minsk, on the High Market, built in 1600. The history of the Minsk City Hall is connected with the city of Magdeburg Law in 1499.
The Town Hall was used primarily as an «assembly house» – a meeting place of the magistrate.
The City Hal was used as the archive, the court, the place where symbols of the city were kept – the emblem, seal, privileges to the Magdeburg Law.
