Suvorov Street is located in Vitebsk city center and is named in honor of the Russian commander-Suvorov. It is one of the oldest streets in the city that began to form as early as 14th and 15th centuries. At one time Bonaparte Napoleon himself walked on this street.
Here, almost every building is an architectural monument of the 19th or 18th century. Among them are the Town Hall (18th century),former shopping arcade (end of 18th century), former apartment buildings (the 19th century), former mansions (the 19th century) etc.
