The most famous architectural monument in Polotsk is St. Sophia Cathedral - a unique masterpiece of the early Slavonic architecture built in the Xth century after the Christianity has come to the Belarusian lands. Another example of the original Polotsk school of architecture is the convent of Saint Ephrosinia of the XIIth century.

Visit to the Children’s Art School №1. At the beginning of the XXth cent. M. Chagall founded the Art College in Vitebsk, where K. Malevich was his assistant.
