On June 1, 2019, a very important meeting for us has took place – a personal acquaintance with some American and Canadian tour operators at the national tourism agency.
It was very important and interesting for us to hear their first impressions of Belarus and the places they visited during their Fam Trip. Most of them came to Belarus for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, greenery and safety around. They also liked our castles, churches and farmsteads. To the latter, by the way, many have expressed particular interest – thanks to homemade warm food and Belarusian hospitality.
During part of the informal communication and exchange of business cards, we clarified what is the most attractive in our country in terms of sights and saw a great interest in national parks, farmsteads and Opera and Ballet Theater. And we are very pleased that these areas are part of the priorities in our strategy.
Many tour operators were also interested in our website, which provides very extensive information about Belarus, including hotels, restaurants, entertainment and attractions.
We want to express our gratitude to the National Tourism Agency for the opportunity to have pleasant communication with such famous Canadian tour operators as Voyage Les Ailes Dor, Carlson Wagonlit, Ron’s and others.
