Farny Cathedral

The Cathedral of St. Francis Xavier is an active Catholic church in Grodno. The more famous name of the church is Farny, which means the main temple. The construction of church begun in 1654. One of the most valuable gems of the church is the main altar, which is a multi-figure composition – one of the highest in Europe (21 meters).

The composition includes more than 40 sculptures, columns, frescoes. Another great feature of the Church is clock – one of the oldest working clock in Eastern Europe.
