1) St. Sophia Cathedral is, perhaps, the most unique church among the few Orthodox shrines known under the same name in Europe, one of the earliest in Ancient Russia and the first stone church building at Belarusian lands.
2)Roman Catholic church in Hervyaty is the brightest example of neo-gothic style in Belarusian architecture. It is usually nicknamed as “Belarusian Notre Dame”. The park area around the church surprises with its natural beauty, statues of 12 apostles, angels and rare plants.
3)The Holy Assumption Church in Sarya is one of the most expressive neo-Gothic churches in Belarus built of red brick. It was built first as Catholic church, but later forwarded to Russian Orthodox community.
4)The Church of the Holy Trinity in Shilovichi – high arches, solemn atmosphere, splendid decor of this church is breathtaking. No one can remain indifferent to the stunning beauty of this landmark of the Grodno region.
5)Red Church in Minsk. It is considered as one of the most popular symbols of Minsk. The Church was completely built of red brick by one Belarusian nobleman and got its name in honor of his early perished children – Helen and Simon.
6)Farny church in Grodno – Once the richest church in the Polish Commonwealth. Its interior is impressive – luxury and grandeur, the oldest clock in Belarus is also situated here, on one of the towers of the church.
7)Church of sv. Yury in Polonechka is the only wooden church in this article. It was built by order of the greatest Albert Radziwill. The church is famous for its top liturgical clothes of the priest, made from the famous Slutsk belts.
8) Church of St. Peter and Pavel in Rozhanka – the first neo-Gothic building on the territory of modern Belarus. The interesting fact is that during the construction builders inserted empty bottles and vessels into the walls of the church for better acoustics.
