Augustovski Channel is one of the largest channels in Europe. Built in the 19th century for rafting wood and goods, it connects the basins of the Vistula and Neman rivers, passes through the territory of Poland and Belarus.
Thanks to the beautiful landscapes, it has become a popular tourist destination for water activities (kayak rafting, catamarans, boat or pedalos), recreation in farmsteads and treatment in local sanatoriums.
In the vicinity of Augustovski Canal you can find interesting historical and architectural monuments of Belarus as well.
