Buinichskoe field

Buinichskoe field is a memorial complex dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War. It is associated with 1941, when the soldiers defended the city from Nazi invaders for 23 days.

The memorial includes varch, entrance and central composition – the 27-meter red-brick chapel, built in the style of Orthodox architecture.

Here you can also see the Foucault Pendulum, which symbolizes the eternal memory of the soldiers who died in battle and the underground crypt in which the remains of soldiers are buried.
