Murovankovskaya fortress-church, a monument of architecture of Belarus, built between 1516 and 1542. The Church is a symbiosis of Gothic and Renaissance architecture.
The temple is a one-story building with a high dual slope roof. Angular cylindrical towers with two tiers of loopholes for shooting give a formidable and warlike look to the structure.
The fortress-church was built not only as a place for worship, but also as a structure that protected local residents from enemy raids.
