Town Hall

Town Hall

Town Hall is the calling card of the city, an architectural monument of the 18th century. The first town hall building was erected in 1597, when the city was granted Magdeburg Law.

It represents two styles – the Vilna baroque (tower) and classicism (main building). Currently, there is a regional museum of local lore in the building. Here you can also go upstairs to see the city from a bird’s view.
